Hello! I’m Jessey, a Health Promotion Psychology Masters student at Utrecht University. My journey with Epicnap began from a personal struggle with sleep procrastination and a desire to enhance sleep quality, not just for myself, but for everyone.

Epicnap is an innovative app designed to transform the way we approach sleep. Rooted in the latest psychological research, it offers tools and interventions aimed at reducing sleep procrastination, improving sleep quality, and boosting mental well-being. Through a blend of mindfulness meditation, breathing exercises, routine building, and mood logging, Epicnap empowers users to establish healthier sleep habits and foster overall well-being.

Epicnap serves as the foundation for my Master’s thesis in Health Promotion Psychology at Utrecht University. This research-focused app investigates how digital interventions can improve sleep health by reducing sleep procrastination and enhancing sleep quality. The findings from this study continuously inform and refine Epicnap’s development, ensuring its effectiveness and scientific validity.
